My name is Khushi Afre and I am a senior at Northview High School located in metro-Atlanta. I moved to this area from Okemos, Michigan right before freshman year started and, as I've acclimated to my new environment, I've fallen in love with the people and opportunities that the south has to offer! This site is simply a documentation of my endeavors throughout high school.

​Although moving across the country, twice, was a daunting experience, I was lucky enough to meet kind people to help me in my acclimation. That kindness endlessly inspires me to pay it forward and is replicated in my dedication to pedagogical productivity. I expend my love for teaching through privately coaching 9 students in debate, tutoring foster students, leading weekly small-group tutoring courses, teaching debate camps through my business, and leading writing workshops through my school's chapter of the National English Honor Society.

Debate is a large part of my life and an activity that has truly transformed me over the last several years: it's converted me from an introvert to a confident public speaker, always looking for ways to collaborate with others in the pursuit of growth. I hope to continue my debate career at the collegiate level so I can continually be engaged in this activity that has given me my best friends, most thought-provoking conversations, wildest adventures, latest nights, and favorite memories.
